What's Included?

We recommend booking the fitting 2-4 months before your event

Book this appointment if you would like to have your dress altered such as hem alterations, strap adjustments, side-seam alterations, appliqués or repairs.

This appointment will require you to bring your dress and shoes along to the fitting.

Includes 30 minutes Initial Consultation with fitting/measurements taken, quotation, and plan for alterations.

Please note, all fittings will take place during the opening hours of our studio on Tuesdays, Wednesday afternoons Thursdays and Fridays, plus, occasional Saturdays. If you require an alternative day, please call or email us for more availability.

Bookings can be taken over the phone if you prefer.

Note, your dress will be completed 2-4 weeks before your event date if you book a fitting within the standard 2-4+ months before your event.

If you book with less than 4 weeks before your occasion, we will add 25% of the cost of the job to your quote.

FAQS:

How long is the appointment? 30-minute Initial Consultation, full quote formed the week after fitting and plan for alterations

How many fittings will I need after the initial appointment? Fittings will be charged at £36 and the final collection appointment (15 minutes) will be charged at £15.

Can I get a quote? After any of the appointments listed have been completed, your quote will be formed, and you will be made aware on the day of your fitting if you need follow-up fittings.

How much are alterations to my wedding dress? The average alterations cost is between £300-800+, depending on what dress alterations are required. The more custom the alteration, the higher the labour or material cost is.

We run an extremely busy alterations service so booking closer to your wedding date will occur at a premium price. View our price list for a guide price.

What if I plan to flucuate in size/loose dress sizes? 

Should your body shape fluctuate drastically (you intend to lose/put on weight by at least 2-3 dress sizes), we advise you to let us know prior to booking so we can advise accordingly.  

Can I bring guests along? 

Clients are welcome to bring guests along to the fitting (recommended up to 1-4 people but must state upon booking should we need to make more room for 4+ people).

Fitting appointments are priced according to the time of booking. We run an extremely busy alterations service so booking closer to your deadline will occur at a premium price.

Should your body shape fluctuate (you intend to loose/put on weight), we advise you to get a fitting booked closer to your event date. Please allow at least 2 weeks before your event.

Optional packages for your fitting are available upon booking.

We have to secure fitting appointment payments in advance to ensure that we do not have cancellations. Having multiple cancellations in our business can be detrimental to the runnings of the alterations service. It's a popular service and we want to make sure everyone gets the time for fittings that they need.

*You may move your booking within 3 days notice and your booking will be transferable to another date.

*If you cancel with less than 3 days notice, we will, unfortunately, have to retain your payment for the fitting and you will not be refunded or be able to change your booking date.
